Allahabad Museum organizes Leadership Training Programme 
for Curators of Government Museums of Madhya Pradesh

After the successful completion of the Leadership Training Programme (LTP-II) by officers at Allahabad Museum in August 2013, a special training programme has been organized by Allahabad Museum for colleagues from the museums of Madhya Pradesh. The training began on 15 September and will be on until 25 September 2013.

The training is being attended by 22 participants form state, regional and local level museums of Madhya Pradesh and is being delivered by participants trained at the British Museum Leadership Training Programme of 2012 and 2013 by the Ministry of Culture through the National Culture Fund.

Sessions in this training programme include themes such as museum strategy, vision, museum design, project management and change management.

This is a fantastic example of sharing knowledge with peers aimed at expanding and strengthening the web of museum professionals in India.
